IGM typically acquires both the operating business and the real estate it operates from — owning the property alongside the business helps manage risk and puts a tangible asset behind the investment. Wherever we can, we own the property our businesses operate from — over 60,000 square feet of commercial space today, including the buildings of our Launch family entertainment center and our Goddard School in downtown Chicago.
